7/7 Incident Commander & former Head of Counter Terrorism joins Epiphany
The former Head of Counter Terrorism for the City of London, and the initial Commander during the onset of the July 7th terrorist attacks, Brett Lovegrove, has been appointed to the post of Director within Epiphany’s Organisational Resilience division.
Considered one of the world’s leading experts in the field of Incident Management and Counter Terrorism, Brett served for 30 years as a Police Officer, with his final five years commanding Counter Terrorism, Emergency Planning, Business Continuity, CBRN, Firearms, Police Search Advisors, and Architectural Liaison, for the world’s financial capital.
Brett’s appointment will see him play a key role in the delivery of ‘ArchAngel‘, a national Incident Management technology programme currently being developed by Epiphany for the UK Emergency Services.
His appointment within Epiphany sees him join a group with activities spread across Information Technology, Outsourcing, and Organisational Resilience, supporting more than £3 billion pounds of contracts in 2009.

Brett holds a Masters degree in Criminal Justice and Terrorism, is a Visiting Professor at the Marshall Centre (Germany) advising the US Military, a Visiting Fellow at Cranfield University (UK Defence Academy), member of the Defence and Security Committee in the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a member of the UKTI DSO security sector advisory group, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals. He is frequently asked to advise international organisations and governments including the US Congress, the European Government in The Hague, worked with the National Counter Terrorism Board in the Netherlands and briefed the Danish Parliament.
