Epiphany presents at BS25999 launch in London.
It's been widely awaited, but now the new British Standard on Business Continuity (BS25999) is finally here, and Epiphany were there at the official launch in London to present our approach to BS25999 section 8.5.5 Crisis/Incident Communication.
The audience comprised Business Continuity professionals and leaders from significant public and private sector organisations looking to gain the first look at the new standard.
The Epiphany Presentation drew a number of questions and a high level of interest from the audience afterwards. Our team offered exclusive insights into the Epiphany approach to proactive incident communication planning and management. Giving a glimpse into our Strategic and Tactical tools for responding to incidents with appropriate stakeholder communications.
Many participants were surprised at just how much of the Incident Communications requirement can be planned and prepared for long in advance of an incident, to shorten the response time and deliver the most robust and appropriate messages to the right audiences when caught in the media spotlight.
Some of the Epiphany risk assessment tools attracted e-mails for several weeks after from professionals seeking to gain a deeper understanding of the how to assess and mitigate the risk to their organisations brand should they become involved in an incident.
